Ty Mawr has a farm setting near the Cefn Viaduct and River Dee in the beautiful Dee Valley.
It is home to a number of different animals such as sheep, donkeys, rabbits, pigs and lots more. You can feed some animals and watch the others graze in the meadows, or have a relaxing picnic in the picnic area overlooking the Cefn Viaduct or down by the River Dee. There are many walks you can take ,they include a short circular walk around the park or longer walks such as the Aqueduct walk, part of Offa's Dyke Trail,Cefn Heritage Trail or Llangollen Canal walk.
There are beautiful wooden sculptures in the visitor centre/picnic area to see.
There is also a BMX track,Trim Trail and playground to keep you fit.
It is a beautiful relaxing place to visit and both young and old can appreciate what it offers.
Well worth a visit.
